[Instrument Inventory:] Small and light for a Venda instrument. Munyai tunes his octaves large. Has a wire handle on the top end. Writing on back: Venda mbila dza madeza made by James Munyai, Tshaulu, Venda, 1988. Tshaulu is the place where the bamboo for tshikona pipes grows.
